As well as giving time to remember, the aim of the service is to be gentle and supportive for anyone journeying with grief. During the service there will be an opportunity to remember loved ones in different ways, including lighting a candle and placing a heart on the tree of remembrance.
The service will be led by Hospital Chaplains Martin Abrams & Jan Fraser. Also taking part will be Shirley Potts (Assistant Chaplain and formerly of Child
Bereavement UK) & local singer Wendy Chalke.

Following the service, there will be time for reflection, conversation and refreshments.
Working through grief and the loss of a loved one takes a long time. The course is for any person who is bereaved, whether recently or dating back several years. Based on Christian principles, the course is suitable for anyone with or without a Christian faith.
