The Southport Circuit is responsible for ensuring information held within the Circuit is compliant. To achieve this we will be using a market leading online data base called Churchsuite, rather than using ad hoc methods such as spreadsheets etc. Churchsuite allows us to maintain, in one place, contact details including names, addresses, phone numbers and email.
We will only hold data needed for contact purposes, although, for office holders, we may record some further information relating to your role (e.g. training completed, DBS renewal date). Officers of the church can access the data appropriate to their role. You will be able to access your data, check that it is correct and specify what contact details, if any, you want to be shared with other people in the church.
If you don’t have an email address you will receive a letter with a return form to confirm your details. The Pastoral Secretary can amend your details if you don’t have an email account or if you prefer not to update the records yourself.
You can also download Churchsuite as an App to your phone. Over the coming months we will be adding a calendar of our local events.
