For those wishing to volunteer (and able to) to help the most vulnerable in our communities, Sefton CVS is coordinating the local response.  There are lots of ways to help out – from walking a dog, being on the end of a phone, to driving people to medical appointments.  Please go online and sign up

I know we all want to do what we can at the moment to support each other but don’t forget for some of us the best thing that we can do at the moment is stay home and stay safe.

The Church buildings may be closed for worship but we are called to be the church where ever we are.

Lord Jesus Christ,

You taught us to love our neighbour,
and to care for those in need
as if we were caring for you.
In this time of anxiety, give us strength
to comfort the fearful, to tend the sick,
and to assure the isolated
of our love, and your love,
for your name’s sake.
