Over the last 25 years, the Methodist people have been on a
‘Pilgrimage of Faith’ to discover how we can better express our love for
God in how we love one another and enable each other to love. As a
Methodist people we have chosen to journey on together and find
ways of living with contradictory convictions.
The circuit is organising an opportunity for people of differing opinions
and experiences to share views and ask questions about what the Bible
says about same-sex relationships and marriage. It is not about coming
to an agreed policy or uniform opinion on the Methodist Conference
Report ‘God in love unite us’ which talks much more widely about
human relationships, it is however about creating greater
understanding about how Christians can hold different views as we
journey together.
