Join us for Easter

Contributors from across the Circuit have been preparing services and devotions to support us as we reflect during Holy Week on Jesus’ journey to the cross.  Each service will premier on Youtube at a set time each day and will also be available thereafter for you to watch.

On-LineEvening Devotions

7pm for 15 minutes on Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st.

Monday lead by Rev. Patrick Evans
As Jesus prepares to enter Jerusalem, he travels through Bethany and receives the hospitality of Lazarus, Mary and Martha. The week ahead is going to be intolerable for Jesus; as he prepares to enter Jerusalem he is also entering the most vulnerable week of his life, his hosts offer him the gift of fellowship which he values greatly. As we travel through Holy Week, how do we view the cross of vulnerability?
Tuesday lead by Worship Leader Andy Trimble
In our journey towards the joy of Easter, this reflection looks at how God works in ways we do not to achieve His ends. Through all this He is with us despite our suffering – most appropriate in  these times of COVID.
Tuesday lead by Local Preacher Colin Fyles

Maundy Thursday 7pm lead by Rev. Ann Hall

The Tenebrae service recorded at PPW, including a very moving “Empty Hands” liturgy for Holy Communion for a dispersed community. This time of worship remembers the passion and death of Jesus in hymns and in readings from Mark’s Gospel account of the Last Supper, Jesus’ agony in Gethsemane, his arrest, trial and crucifixion.

Good Friday 11am lead by Rev. Sonya Marshall

The death of Jesus, on the cross, is central to our faith. During this time, using words, poetry and song we wish to provide a space in which we can stop and reflect on the enormity of His sacrifice.
