A Time to Remember Loved Ones

and Support for the Grief Journey

SUNDAY 7 NOVEMBER, 2021 | 11AM  YOUTUBE

This online event includes reflections from various hospital staff, a specific time to remember loved ones and songs from local singers.

It is hoped it will offer support to anyone on the grief journey.

As part of the event, trees will be planted at both hospitals and the invitation will be made to families to come and plant bulbs of remembrance in these areas. The trees are going to become the focus of our thoughts for remembrance and, over the winter months, ribbons from outside the hospital will begin to be removed and some transferred to around the trees.

The event will be broadcast on the hospital YouTube Channel. The link will also be published on social media, or you can e-mail us for the link.

If you would like a special seed card to be used as part of the event, please contact the spiritual care and chaplaincy office.

This online event replaces the annual service to remember loved ones the Spiritual Care and Chaplaincy Service has offered for some years. This is due to the ongoing Covid restrictions. If it would be helpful, support can be offered by contacting the Spiritual Care Service. Resources are also available on the Queenscourt hospice website (queenscourt.org.uk)

For more information on this, please contact the spiritual care and chaplaincy office.
